The Process
My team decided we wanted to create an app for young adults who have difficulty decorating their rooms. We wanted to create an app where you could do everything from finding inspiration, purchasing decor/furniture, and trying it out in your room with AR before purchasing. We started this project in the research phase where we created an elevator pitch, brand matrix, several personas, and a flowchart of how the app would function. After, we started small with app icon ideations. How we would want our icon to look and standout amongst others. We then moved on the UI sketch ideations. How we would want our app to look and function. We then moved on the final screen designs where we moved them to Adobe XD to prototype how the app would function.
