Overview
This watermark was designed for one of my talented friends. Luke Blizzard is a photographer that captures vivid color and scenes found in nature. While creating the watermark we wanted to capture some of the elements of nature that draw Luke to take his photographs while still keeping a minimalistic approach. Included in the watermark, we have a bold font (Field Gothic - No.25 Bold XXCond) that acts as a horizon line. The sharp lines of the mountain and the bear contrast well with natural shapes in his photographs. The semi circle acts as the sky in the scene of the watermark but also as a sort of badge to hold the watermark together and add contrast.
